Education
In 2008, I graduated with honors and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History with a focus on American and world literature and American, German, and world history. The following year, I completed my master's in International Development Studies at the University of Glasgow. I acquired my Ph.D. in Humanities with a focus on American and world literature and continental philosophy at York University in 2018.
Experience
I have six years of experience as a course director and seminar leader for first to third-year university courses in modern and classic literature, feminist literature, world literature, western philosophy, American history and culture, and some others. I have published multiple papers on 20th and 21st-century literature in literary journals. Currently, I am doing comparative postdoctoral work on contemporary American and South Asian literature. I can work 1-on-1 with students as they work, offering advice and feedback to help them build their understanding of the material at hand.
