I have experience tutoring students and peers of all ages, from elementary school up to undergraduates. I also teach other firefighters in my department as an Assistant Training Instructor. My communications skills are fantastic, and I am a very personable, good humoured, patient person. These skills are essential in my job as a first responder. I love helping people understand maths and science (yes, I spelled it with an "s" coz I'm from the UK), and believe that everyone can be good at maths as long as they have the right teacher. Sometimes, that teacher is me!

Oh, where to begin? The question is what am I not interested in! I am currently learning to play the piano, and am also learning to take care of a little human - my one-year-old son. I am teaching myself video editing (ask me to show you my work!) I volunteer frequently with a local community theatre and have done so for over a decade. It's also where I met my wonderful wife! I love to read, both books and comicbooks, and enjoy meeting friends to play board games or go to trivia nights. I am a pretty good cook, so feel free to hit me up with questions about that, and I am just starting to experiment with baking my own gluten-free sourdough bread. There's plenty more, and I'm sure we'll find lots in common.
